31 Days of Weight Loss: {Day 6: Honesty}

When I started this series, I promised I would be transparent and honest. My goal is to tell God’s story of redemption in my life, a story filled with hope, love, and honesty: nothing less.

At different starting points (also known as stops) along my journey, I have had to have this conversation with myself. It goes like this:

“Be honest with yourself. Stop telling lies. Stop telling lies to yourself and to God. When you overeat, you sin. You may lie to yourself, but you cannot hide that sin from God or anyone else. You wear it everywhere you go.”

This simple act brings my sin to the surface and into the light.

Stop today and do two things. Tell yourself the truth. Tell God the truth. And then move on.

You are beloved. You are a child of God. You were meant for glory. You were meant to be a conqueror. Look to the light sister, and leave the old way behind you.

Much love,

P31Wife

 Therefore, if anyone is in Christ, he is a new creation; the old has gone, the new has come! (2 Corinthians 5:17).
